Rainer Mutsch // Design

Rainer was born in Eisenstadt, Burgenland, Austria.

Education

Rainer studied Interior and Furniture Design at HTL in Moedling, Austria.

Industrial Design at the University of applied Arts (Prof. Paolo Piva) in Vienna, Furniture Design at the Denmarks Design Skole in Copenhagen and Product Design at the University of Arts (Prof. Achim Heine) in Berlin.

Experience

Rainer worked as a designer and personal assistant for Werner Aisslinger in Berlin, Germany. After that, he founded his own studio for industrial design in Vienna in 2007.

Fabspace

FABSPACE is the result of the design studio Rainer Mutsch in collaboration with our company Arcitex. It was created as a modular system in a monolithic form with contours and surfaces of a crystal. Through the base of this special shape less material and volume is needed than in similar constructs.
